Dr. Mara Fleischer is a licensed clinical psychologist in Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked and trained in a variety of settings including Stanford University Medical Center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, San Francisco VA Medical Center, Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University and the Mayo Clinic. Most recently, Dr. Fleischer was on the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and developed the psychological services program in the Center for Medical Weight Loss. 

While she works with a wide variety of clinical concerns, she has specialty training in several evidence-based treatments for Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, Binge Eating, Weight Management, and Insomnia. 

In addition to private practice, Dr. Fleischer has supervised doctoral students at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, she has been involved in treatment outcome research, presented guest lectures at leading universities and is published in scientific journals.
